Interiors of YouTube: Finding Your Style Online

Lately I’ve been fascinated by how much YouTube itself influences our design taste. We don’t just look for inspiration in magazines or Pinterest anymore — we binge interiors content on our favorite channels, and little by little, that shapes the way we define “our style.”

In my latest video, I dive deep into what I’m calling the “Interiors of YouTube.” Basically: if you lined up the creators you follow most closely, what would that lineup say about your own aesthetic?

Think of it like this:

  • Follow Amber Lewis–inspired creators? You’re probably drawn to lived-in California casual.

  • Can’t stop watching Studio McGee–style accounts? That tells me you’re craving clean lines and approachable luxury.

  • Obsessed with slow living creators and cozy vlogs? That’s a clear sign you lean into layered, soulful, cottage-y spaces.

When you start to connect those dots, your own design identity gets sharper. And that’s where it gets really fun: instead of trying to “pick a style,” you can start to notice patterns in what you’re already attracted to.

In the video, I break down some of the biggest YouTube interior styles and show you how to map your subscriptions back to your own taste. It’s less about labels (like “modern farmhouse” or “Scandi”) and more about recognizing yourself in the spaces you can’t stop watching.

If you’re curious, I also share my own little rabbit hole of creators I’ve been watching lately — and what that says about my style. Spoiler: it’s a mix of the polished and the deeply personal.

The whole idea is to remind us that the content we consume is shaping what we think is beautiful — and once you see that, you can use it as a shortcut to clarity.

So, grab a coffee and join me in this deep dive. It might just change the way you scroll YouTube at night.
